Tibet: Edge of the Plateau

A series documenting the borderlands between the Tibetan plateau and its borders within China, in today’s Chinese provinces of Gansu, Qinghai, Sichuan and Yunnan. Home to the rare earth minerals, hydropower, and routes which which tie the region - and rest of the world - to the rise of modern China, the importance of the edge of the Tibetan plateau is still being realised. The series documents the relationship between these infrastructures and the landscape.
